If you need a place to Rent
- Create your profile as accurately as possible so you can have the easiest renting experience.
- Add a profile picture of yourself so people don't think you have 2 heads - you will rent a place quicker by having a profile picture.
- Be on time when viewing a place.
- Be respectful of others when sending messages or booking appointments, as one day they maybe your landlord!
- If you have been offered a property, don't be tardy in responding. You don't want to get off on the wrong foot from the beginning.
- Don't use inappropriate language or negative comments.

If you have a place to Rent
- Add pictures of your place so potential renters know what your place looks like.
- Create your profile as accurately as possible so you can have the easiest renting experience. Tell them if it is close to public transport or if it is close to excellent cafes or a supermarket. You need to sell it to potential renters.
- Be on time when you have a property viewing, because you want the potential renter to be on time.
- If you have offered a property to a potential renter give them sufficient time to respond.
- Be respectful of others when sending messages or booking appointments, as one day they maybe your renter!
- If you have changed your mind about renting your property then don't leave your ad on yChatter - please update the property profile.
- If you have rented your place then don't leave your ad on yChatter going stale like an old piece of cheese. Update the status so potential renters know the place is no longer available.
